In 2024, I found Valeria on IG a couple days before I gave birth and booked a last-minute maternity session. Since then, she has photographed our family another four times - infant, 6 months, 1 year, and 18 months. She has also photographed several friends’ families, and I recommend her to everyone. From the instant we met, we felt a connection with Valeria, and it is clear that she can see and capture the essence of our little family. I got to know Valeriia’s work through an Instagram ad when I was pregnant with my first baby during summer 2022. Her candid but aesthetic style caught my attention. I remember I read all of her posts at once, and really loved how she explained her process and approached sessions as storytelling. A couple of months later, I reached out to schedule my maternity and newborn package with her. That was the first time I was able to experience how much care and attention she puts in before the sessions themselves, to make sure her clients feel at ease, visualize what they can/want to do, and are prepared for the photoshoot. During the session itself, she provides gentle but clear guidance, to make sure she captures everything worth showing. Four years later, we have made seven sessions already (two maternity, two newborns, and several family photoshoots). Every time, the process itself is full of details, and she delivers beautiful results. I feel the need to print an album immediately, and keep all these memories forever! I also love how complete her packages are, since some of them even include a beautiful edited video with candid little clips that she captures during the session. It is impressive to me that she can do all that by herself during the photoshoot, all while dealing with babies, toddlers, couples, and even a whole family, in settings that are not always ideal for photos (small interiors, unexpected lightning conditions, crowded public spaces, etc.) And she does it all with a calm and warmth that translate into beautiful pictures and memories. After the first maternity and newborn session I made with her, I not only got the digital edited pictures and video, but also a beautiful mailed package with the printed album, some spare printed photographs I gave out to my family, and a framed photo that immediately went to my wall (and is still there!). I could not believe how much care was put in that package! It is not about the physical things (packages evolve and they may not be all the same!), it is about the level of detail and love put into those sessions. For all these years, I have kept following her social media closely, since I am very interested in how she handles her work. She generously shares tips that are useful not only to her clients, but also to other photographers. Incredible! Both sessions with Valeriia were amazing!
