Hello! My name is Valeria Kuzmina.

I am an international award-winning family photographer based in Miami, specializing in natural, storytelling photography for families across Greater Miami, Miami Beach, Coral Gables and overall South Florida.

I don't photograph children. I document their childhood.

​

My photography is about the moments that make your family yours - the way your baby curls into your arms, the way your children laugh together, the little routines at home, the movement, the connection, and all the beautiful details of everyday life that are so easy to forget as the years pass.

​

I photograph families through many of life's most meaningful chapters, including maternity, birth, newborn, baby milestones, birthdays and family sessions. Many of my sessions take place at home, where children can simply be themselves, while others happen outdoors around Miami and South Florida.

​

My approach is intentionally natural. Instead of asking your family to constantly look at the camera or hold perfect poses, I create space for real interaction. I gently guide when needed, but I want your photographs to feel alive, emotional and unmistakably yours.

​

As a mother, I understand how quickly childhood changes. The ordinary things we see every day can become the things we miss the most - tiny hands, favorite toys, morning cuddles, the way a child fits into your arms at this exact age. This is why I want photographs to preserve more than how your family looked. I want them to preserve how this chapter of your life felt.

​

My work has received international photography awards, and I have had the honor of serving as a judge in photography competitions. I also lead photography masterclasses, sharing my approach to natural light, composition, emotion and visual storytelling with other photographers.

​

Over the years, my work and philosophy have also been recognized beyond individual family sessions, including features in photography publications. But the most meaningful part of this work remains the same: creating photographs that become part of a family's history.

Every session is different because every family is different. We plan around your children, your home, your personalities and the memories that matter to you. There is no expectation that your children will behave perfectly or that your family needs to know how to pose. You simply need to be together.
